Teeter Totter Thoughts

When you can't see eye to eye with life
Which eye is not seeing?
If you can't see eye to eye
It means both can't see
So there can't be a right or wrong
It can only mean different views
Each seeing their way
However no one can see our way
Without us saying they too have a way
There are more paths then one
When you find a soul who can at least hear your path
Then you can describe it better so they can share in your thoughts, in your vision
That is teaching
Arguing that you are right and someone is wrong does not solve
It creates
It creates potholes and quicksand
Which would you rather pay for?
Truth or problems?
Speak your truth and nothing can happen but it being heard
Shout your point of view and it will fall on deaf ears and never be heard
Remember the next time you are upset
To walk away and listen to yourself
And ask yourself if someone talked to you like that, what would you feel or do?
If you don't like your answer, take a breath and keep walking
Until you can say to yourself, what did it take for that person to say this?
How much of it is real?
What should I be looking at if I were a spectator?
It may sound like being too nice, or putting too much thought into something you are right about anyway
However your mind can accommodate others,
And that is the basis of the formations of respect, integrity and candor
You get to live in the truth of what is happening rather than what you want to happen
It is being objective which saves you time on the back end, the clean up, the I am sorry's
Instead you can say, I want to hear what you are saying, I know you didn't mean that, you must be angry or not heard
Just writing that gives me comfort
It is our language and our intention
In everything we choose to do
All we do is a choice and we forget when we speak things like I can't help it
Yes you can and you could
You always know when you intentions are clear
Asking yourself why you are doing or saying what you are doing or saying
Keeps your intentions in the forefront of your mind and it drags your heart into involvement
Speak your truth and hear the truth of others
It is the foundation of who we are
When we can live in enough truth to keep our worlds clean without clutter in our air!
